Meet Our Team
We work very closely as a team here at Signature Strength and Conditioning Centre, so you’ll probably meet and work with each of our team at some point while you’re working out. Each trainer is fully qualified and has their own area of specialty and their own personal style. Check out each team member's bio below. Tom Matthews
Founder, Signature Strength & Conditioning Centre
Throughout his life, Tom has always had a passion for physical fitness. From Representative Basketball, Football to team sports, he always strived for excellence. Working in many parts of Australia and then relocating to Sydney due to a career with Qantas, this instilled in Tom a strong affliction for precision and mission objectives. On his fitness journey, Tom searched out knowledge to train himself to the highest standard. This search brought him into contact with numerous training, strength and weight loss mentors. He is now in a position to assist others who are also striving to be their best.
Juliana Matau
Head Trainer
Juliana works with the trainers to ensure that our members are getting the absolute best there is in training programs, coaching, customer service and results. She loves motivating people to let go of their restraints to reach their goals. Juliana is also certified as a Children & Older Adult Trainer.

Cy Lindeberg
Trainer
She looks innocent, but Cy has a wicked streak hidden inside! She knows exactly how to push you just that little bit extra while giving you the support and encouragement you need. She is currently studying Exercise Science and Psychology at University and next year, a Masters degree in Sports Perormance.
Cy also coaches the Sharks ABA Women's Basketball team here at the centre.

Ruth Brown
Trainer
Ruth leads a very active lifestyle with netball and dragonboat, and she loves to encourage people to achieve their goals. She is laid-back and friendly, always making your sessions fun! Ruth specialises in boxing and is certified as a Thump Boxing Instructor and also an Advanced Boot Camp Instructor.

Misty Kirkwood
Trainer
Misty specialises in Functional and Rehabilitation exercises. With a passion for the human body and education, she strives to empower the members with knowledge so that they may continue to improve throughout their lives. Misty is also a certified Aqua Instructor, Boxing Instructor, Children & Older Adult Instructor.
Liza Merriment
Centre Manager
Her organisational skills help keep our facility running like a well oiled machine. Liza became passionate about strength training during her own fat loss journey and now loves to help others.
